Some small grains have played an important role in the state of Washington since the first Northwest wheat crop was planted in 1825 at Fort Vancouver, Washington. The impact of wheat still touches each resident in Washington through production and in the millions of dollars it contributes to the state's economy each year. The Washington Wheat Foundation is driven to supporting the small grains industry in our state. Over the years, many partners from the industry and the food and fiber chain have joined us in educating, supporting advances in sound farming practices and providing scholarships to young people. We hope you will join us in our support of the small grain industry of wheat and barley.

Your support can be in many forms:
  • Get in the swing of things by playing in our annual "Harvest Classic" golf tournament.

  • Purchase a tile to last through the years in the entrance of the Washington Wheat Foundation Annex.

  • Join us for a great meal and auction at the annual WAWG convention.

  • Provide an annual contribution to advance the mission of the Washington Wheat Foundation.

  • Gift a charitable contribution as a legacy to loved ones that will last forever.

We are glad to be part of a fantastic agriculture family and hope you will consider joining us in 2010 in advancing the positive message and goals of the Washington Wheat Foundation.
